It is so exciting to be looking at 2017 and the future with fresh eyes.  Like all pivotal moments, this recent revelation has been a work in progress, on the back burner for a long time.  This year, I will begin training to become a certified "Life-Cycle Celebrant". Similar to the duties of an ordained minister but much more inclusive and flexible, I will begin to serve God and our world more directly with all my treasured gifts.  I am looking forward to this New Career.  Stay tuned,  because...

2016: Paving New Paths

Posted by Pamela Chabora on Wednesday, February 17, 2016,
After forty years of marriage, I reluctantly find that I must carve a new life...a different life after the loss of my sweet husband in 2015. I can now add writer and caregiver to my resume. They say you must wait a year to benefit from any glimpses of hindsight...so I am not sure where I am heading. But I know I am still here for a reason. Film? Media? Shakespeare? Publishing? Teaching? Preaching? Big doors have closed and are closing...while many new doors and windows of opportunity are fli...

"Nothing Happens that God doesn't have a Reason For!  He tries to teach us things.  He tries to reach down and shake out of our ignorance. He doesn't Tell you what it is...you just have to learn it!  But God knows. HE has his reasons...and I'm not Upset. " Ruth from MARVIN'S ROOM

Exciting events have evolved in this early part of 2014.  A series of lovely performance opportunities all fell into my lap at one time, but one company in that deluge made me an offer I couldn't refuse...and that was my Equity Contract to play Ruth in Marvin's Room with the Saco River Company in Bar Mills, Maine. I am now a proud member of the Actor's Equity Association.  I feel like I am on the final stretch heading toward my long-term goals and dreams and maybe with a concerted plunge of e...
